It allows a app...</title><content type='html'>iPhone api has something similar..&lt;br /&gt;It allows a app to register a URL scheme&lt;br /&gt;e.g. khivi://&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When this url is opened the application is launched&lt;br /&gt;with the URL as a method parameters.
